On top of the mountain, where the sun hits snow at first light, and stays all day, this is where you have the opportunity to try out dog sledding. With 4 to 6 dogs running in front of you, bringing you to places you wouldn't easily get to any other way, you really get the feeling of how everyday life was for the native Norwegian people. With a guide leading the way, you will be on a 30-minute ride, where you are able to control the sled and the dogs yourself.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
- Price: 1300 NOK per person incl. transportation and drinks/snacks
- Location: Holdeskaret
- Duration: total 1,5 hours plus transportation time.
- What to wear: clothes depending on weather conditions - we recommend layers with wool, primaloft / wind stopper, winter shoes, sunglasses.
- Transport: The transport will pick you up from Fyri Resort: 20 minutes before your booked time. From Skistar Lodge: 15 minutes before your booked time. Please be ready outside the reception for exact departure time.
- Alcohol: It is strickly forbidden to be under the influence of alcohol while doing this activity! If the guide thinks you are under the influence, he will not let you participate and there will be no refund
